On my first day at this company, I installed Chrome without administrative privileges somehow. IT found out today and they weren't happy with that. [Tbh, I had no idea that was bad.] So I have to fill out a request form and have to ask for approval from my supervisor to have Chrome installed.
What is a "valid business reason" to install Google Chrome and how would you make the case to your supervisor? The default browser where I work at is IE 9.
ETA: I may consider not bothering with it if it's not worth the trouble.
