I knew it. I can see the frame-drops in nearly everything. Mainly old shows in syndication. I don't think I could recognize Munchkin singing at a higher tone unless it was extremely obvious.

Another solution would be simply to make showtimes longer. Sure, ST:TNG is supposed to fit in to a 1-hour time slot, but when you put 5 on in a row, just make them all 1 hr and 12 min, and add in 12 minutes of commercials. Not as if I care, I'd be watching on delay or recorded anyway. But I'd rather not watch the "shortened" versions, even if it is only a frame at a time.
