We met at a mixer for an online dating site. The ratio was super dude heavy and I almost left because the one girl I had chatted with and was interested in seemed to be hitting it off with another guy and I don't care enough to butt in and try to steal a girl in that situation. But I noticed here standing by herself in the corner, started talking to her and became attracted. Seemed she was into me too. We chatted for about an hour and I got her number.
I noticed she checked my profile from the "see who was at the event" page. She put "wants kids: definitely" I'm not looking for a wife yet, although I'm not entirely opposed to finding one while looking for a mid-long term girlfriend. That could be an issue.
I'd like to have that conversation, which should be easier to have with an older woman, and set myself up to be the fling if it would not work out long term.
