I SO INCREDIBLY overanalyzed this test. It should have taken 20 minutes. It took me much longer .... HR is like, "TIP: don't overanalyze and be truthful". Well unfortunately HR, I am unsure of what the truth is at times, thus I feel compelled to analyze and inevitably overanalyze in an effort to uncover the truth.
Here's a highlight:
One of the sections on the quiz said something like, "It is important to be accepting of different types of people. Rate your level of acceptance regarding the following people on a scale from 1-5, where 1 means you completely accept them and 5 means you completely don't accept them:"
1) A person who illegally uses marijuana
2) A person who shares marijuana with others
3) A person who does cocaine
4) A person who does uppers (amphetamines)

A snippet of my thought process
My first thought was: if they aren't hurting anyone or causing others pain (excluding themselves), then I will accept them. Though one issue with this logic is that in causing themselves pain by doing the drugs and potentially screwing their own life, they are most likely indirectly causing a lot of pain to the people close to them .... so my definition of pain deserves consideration perhaps.
My second thought was: "How is acceptance defined as it relates to the question?--like does accepting them mean you are willing and open to forming a relationship with them?--(would that relationship need to be authentic or would an inauthentic one suffice?)... or perhaps it means you are willing to be polite to them? You won't report them to the police? You are willing to listen to their opinion?
My third thought was: Am I using the right logic? Am I not seeing something here?

I don't even know what uppers is LOL ... The other problem is I don't know anyone who is currently messed up by drugs, so I can only speculate as to whether I'd accept someone who does drugs or not.
I put down 2's, meaning I would reasonably accept them. I myself don't do drugs and I don't think doing cocaine is a great idea, but I definitely wouldn't dismiss someone as a potential friend or resource or WHATEVER just because they like having a dangerously good time. So therefore, that means I'm willing to accept someone who does drugs right??
What do you all think ? Did I fail the personality quiz over this question?? LOL ..............................................
