Hi guys,
Quick question about calculating maximum likelihood. If you are given a series of possible values for a Poisson distribution, such as 3, 4, 5 as well as information that the last claim is "at most 1", how do you set up the likelihood function for the last claim? Is the last claim considered left censored and therefore equal to F(1)? I set up my equation and I'm getting thrown off by the (1-P(X=0)).
Thanks!
