Hi all,
Whenever I get amortization question, I tend to use the formula from the amortization table. For instance if the question ask me to find the t-th principal,
I'll use R[v^(n-t+1)] instead of R-[i*OB(t-1)]
I notice that this is only possible if R is equal for all payments. Is it possible to use the former when given varying/increasing payments? What is the best method to use for this type of problems?
