I have working as a Business Consultant (in P & C Insurance) for more than 5 years and recently completed my CPCU in a pretty good time.. I feel very confident and would like to test the waters.. which is actuaries..
I know actuary exams are very much difficult when compared to CPCU, but want to try my chance on an actuary paper and see where it leads me.
As for my education background I have done Mechnical engineering (did work couple of years in Production) and MBA. So i do have background on maths and stats.
So my questions are: what would be the best paper to start?
I know that there are no prescribed text; which one should i base my studies on?
Would really appreciate if you could provide valuable guidanace. :tup:
