I applied to an actuarial position that seeks 1-2 years of experience. I have 2 internships under my belt that don't even add up to a year.
I initially applied to this position a month ago and was rejected, I wasn't surprised. Out of the blue, the company recruiter gave me a call earlier this week, and phone screened me. A few days later, he touched base and stated the P&C Director would like to interview me. The following day, the recruiter notified me that the director of Pensions wanted to interview me as well, for one of their openings. I was taken by surprise. So essentially, I'll be interviewing for 2 jobs.
I'm really excited about the opportunity, but somewhere inside me, I feel like I'm not qualified for the job, and it's hurting my confidence. At the same time, the directors wouldn't waste their time interviewing someone they aren't interested in, right?
