They emailed me a letter at the beginning of the semester, congratulating me for having Dean's list highest honors. It said that if I checked a privacy box during my application, my name would not be published. I did not check any such box. I found the list online, and it was not in alphabetical order. I could not find me name but assumed it was because of the ordering. I went to the site again, and this time it was alphabetized. My name is clearly not on it. So I emailed them 5 minutes ago asking them to fix it.
This is so annoying. The companies I told I had a 4.0 probably googled my name, did not find it on a Dean's list, and figured I was lying. I googled a few names on the list, and they came up at the top of the google search under Dean's list. All I can do now is get them to fix it, then email a link to the updated site to the companies I applied to.
Do you think they even cared enough to google me are connect GPA with an absence on the online list?
