There aren't many actuarial employers and financial industry opportunities where actuaries can be employed where I live. Insurance companies are complete with capacity for actuaries and consultancies few hire students and graduates and prefer to train. Traditional actuarial jobs here require core insurance experience of several years and investment opportunities are few. One possibility is to look for telecommuting remote contract or a job. There are advertised remote actuarial jobs and there are numerous offsite jobs advertised in other sectors like software development, writing, and data entry. Sites like hire.jobvite.com and flexjobs.com. Any forum member here who can direct to a source, a recruiter?
