Right now I'm thinking of using the Aloft Nashville west end hotel. It's $216 a night for two adults, new place, rooms look nice, it's about a mile from right downtown, so IMO pretty easily walkable

I haven't booked yet. Another option is what Arthur mentioned booking a penthouse condo. The condo sleeps 14. I'm hesitant to drop $4k on it up front though without knowing for sure how many people we'll be. If there is strong interest I could be persuaded (or, if someone else puts up the 4k).
