Immediate opening for an Actuarial Assistant at Dickinson Group, LLC in our actuarial division, providing consulting services to multiemployer benefit funds. Excellent opportunity to gain exposure to both the pension and health & welfare disciplines. This position will be involved in pension and OPEB actuarial valuations, pension benefit calculations, IBNR and COBRA calculations, and cost studies.
Location: Uniondale, NY
Job Requirements:
• 0-2 years relevant job experience
• Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated aptitude in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or equivalent
• Completion of 1 or more SOA/EA exams
• Strong computer skills including Excel and Word
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
