Could you, theoretically, create artificial gravity (which would make Terra-forming much easier, keeping at atmosphere etc) by placing a tiny piece of a Neutron Star near the center of mass of whichever object you're trying to create gravity on?
This wouldn't require breaking our laws of physics (sci fi usually has an on-off switch for gravity).
Just something I was pondering.
