Like if you watch shows on Law (The Good Wife), Politics (House of Cards), Marketing/Advertising (Mad Men) etc., do they have an effect on your personality? Do you get smarter/more clever?
On a side note, although its an open question but how does "reading" a novel on a show would compare to "watching" a show?
