I have looked into actuarial jobs in Bermuda, and I'm sure I would be able to find work with a reinsurer on the island. However, I am unsure whether my husband old have immigration problems since Bermuda would likely not recognize our same-sex marriage.
Has anyone heard heard of gay couples relocating to Bermuda together? Like most others, I wouldn't plan to stay indefinitely - only for a few years. My husband would also be willing to stay home or work from home, so I don't think he would need a work permit.
