Hello Friends,
I am an aspiring actuarial/data/statistical analyst. I have a couple of exams under my belt and a couple of years of pension actuarial experience.
I have been getting a fair amount of interviews, but I never land the job, and I feel it is because my SQL/VBA/SAS/Excel skills are not up par. I am curious to learn from you, the experts, about the best resources for getting up to and exceeding par in these areas. For instance, a credential of some sort that I could get and put on a resume, if such a thing exists. Or if there are online courses that would help me gain more than a general bit of knowledge. I have heard several universities offer 12-18 credit hour certificates in Data Analytics, I am not sure if these are useful or not.
Thanks in advance!
