I am looking at #10 about claim pooling. In the problem it states:
"Pooled charges are to be calculated by spreading the pooled claims to the groups based on premium (i.e. each group's pooling charge is based on the portion of the total premium attributable to that group)."
Then in the answers, the pooling charge for each group is calculated as the total pooled claims over the total premium. Am I missing something in the above? Doesn't it specifically say "based on the portion of total premium attributable to that group"? Any help is appreciated.
