Recently I received an internship offer from a renowned company. They sent me a letter about the internship's pay/time/location/etc, but the letter also says that "Employment is at−will and the terms of this letter are not contractual but instead, a summary of the initial employment relationship."
My question is: am I really set for the internship? Since this company is definitely my first choice, I'll decline all other interviews/offers if the offer from this company is confirmed.
Also, I realize that there's still a long time before summer, so I don't expect to sign on a formal contract soon. I know there's still process such as background check/drug test etc. But at which point I can 100% be sure about the internship?
Any suggestion/feedback is much appreciated!
