Hi,
So, I've been getting to do quite a lot of Solvency II related work. It's interesting and challenging, but I'm really starting to question the marketability of these skills in the US market. I understand it's pretty hot in Europe but I have no intention of moving there anytime soon.
I'd like to to not be in a situation where I have put in a lot of time and effort into getting good at something which will have very little relevance and value to potential future employers and my career (with opportunity cost being getting more experience and advancement through traditional reserving/pricing tracks)
Any thoughts on potential career options where this could come useful?
