When I was growing up, I remember teachers and parents telling their children not to talk to strangers. What's up with that? I have found that talking to as many strangers as possible has broadened my perspective, helped me learn more about people from different cultures and social classes, and has improved my career opportunities and communication skills.
I think we should be encouraging our children to strike up conversations with as many strangers as possible. Why is everyone so scared of the boogah?
