Is my cover letter important for addressing what I've been doing that relates to the actuarial career?
I've been studying, learning programming, and I participate in an activity that might be of interest. I've been doing other things as well, but they don't relate to the career (exercising--5k's/weight lifting and participating in music ensembles).
I haven't worked during this time. I'm going to start volunteering within the next month (my application has been accepted and I've interviewed with them). I've started applying for part-time jobs.
