Author Max Tang is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). He has been a Senior Actuary with California Department of Health Care Services since 2007. He also worked as a senior research program specialist for the California Department of Insurance. His research publications can be found in the Journal of Insurance Regulation and the Journal of Actuarial Practice.
Max Tang holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics from University of Hawaii. He has been an adjunct professor for several universities and colleges teaching courses including: The Principles of Risk Management and Insurance, Data Analysis for Managers, Micro Economics, and Elementary Statistics.
