Hi All,
I have a question about the the variance of endowment insurance.
Suppose Z is the PV of a endowment insurance, what is Var(Z)?
I was trying to do this way:
Var(Z)=E(Z^2)-(E(Z))^2
Since PV(endowment)=PV(term)+PV(pure endowment),
is the following correct?
2nd moment of endowment = 2nd moment of term + 2nd moment of pure endowment
Thanks in advance!
