Hello,
I am in my first year of college, planning to major in math and minor in economics or computer science, and I want to know more about the prospect of becoming an actuary. I am sort of aware of the general stuff, but I want to know exactly what is needed to become an actuary - what steps do I need to take?
I know there are actuarial exams which are important, but it's hard for me to understand which ones I'm supposed to be taking. I'm taking two classes right now which supposedly prepare for FM and P, but would taking those two exams be enough? Also, is there anything else needed to be done or something I need to know besides taking the exams?
Thanks in advance!
